PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal module with a built-in Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID) for temporarily assigning an EPC specific to the RFID via a wire by an MCU that is wire-connected to the RFID, and a method for temporarily assigning an individual recognition number of the RFID.SOLUTION: An MCU 120 acquires the tag identifier (TID) of an RFID-IC 111 via a wired interface (step 204). The MCU 120 generates a sequence of numbers specific to the RFID 110 on the basis of the TID acquired in step 204 (step 205). The sequence of numbers generated in step 205 by the MCU 120 is written over the EPC of the RFID-IC 111 via a wired interface (step 206). After step 206 is carried out, the MCU 120 stores a flag indicating that it temporarily assigned a number in a nonvolatile memory that is a predetermined place of storage in the module (step 207).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
