An electric power steering device includes a first switching element which is connected to a battery, a power source relay which is composed of a second switching element which is connected to the first switching element in series and is connected to a driving circuit for driving a motor, a monitor circuit which monitors a voltage between the driving circuit and the second switching element, and a computing device which judges an abnormality of the power source relay in accordance with a command signal for controlling the power source relay and the voltage which is monitored by the monitor circuit. |
