The multipurpose solutions of the present invention are used for cleaning, disinfecting, storing and rinsing contact lenses, without causing any of the common adverse effects of similar solutions on the eyes. They comprise chamomile extract in their composition. Chamomile not only exerts a cleaning and disinfecting action, but, most importantly, it has a soothing effect and eliminates the feeling of dry eyes, irritation etc. It provides a prolonged feeling of comfort to the lens user, thus allowing for the trouble-free wearing of contact lenses throughout longer periods of time. |
