PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently construct a power information collection system in which a slave apparatus capable of communicating with a master apparatus by power line communication transmits power information to a server through the master apparatus, by integrating the slave apparatus into the system by simple work.SOLUTION: A power information collection system 201 comprises: power information acquisition devices 101; a plurality of master devices 102 which are connected to the power information acquisition devices 101 by a power line and communicate with a power information acquisition device 101 authenticated by a common key system; and a server 103 capable of communicating with the master devices 102. The power information acquisition device 101 shares the same cipher key with the respective master devices 102; communicates with any of the master devices 102 by using the cipher key; searches for a master device 102 to be connected in order to transfer power information to the server 103 according to information acquired by the communication; and performs authentication processing with the server 103 through the master device 102 searched for. |
