PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress false recognition of a symbol combination related to a winning combination.SOLUTION: There is provided variable display means which variably displays many kinds of symbols including special symbols, stop-displays symbol combinations on each of valid lines and invalid lines in accordance with stop operation by a player, and can stop display symbol combinations composed of a plurality of special symbols on the invalid line when symbol combinations related to a specific winning combination are stop-displayed on the valid line. In such a configuration, there is provided display means which, when the symbol combinations related to the specific winning combination are stop-displayed on the valid lines, displays symbol images representing symbols as same as or similar to the special symbols.
