PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method capable of securing the accuracy of inspection while reducing the amount of ink to be used when optically inspecting whether a specific inspection pattern can be printed on an inspection medium or not.SOLUTION: An inspection pattern is formed with an ink in a first color and an ink in a second color on an inspection medium. Inspection for dot formation by the ink in the first color is carried out in a first region having a first region color in an inspection pattern formed region of the inspection medium. Inspection for dot formation by the ink in the second color is carried out in a second region having a second region color in the inspection pattern formed region of the inspection medium. The first ink color and the second ink color are different from each other. The first ink color and the first region color are different from each other. The second region color is different form both the second ink color and the first region color. |
