PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device which improves reliability by suppressing fluctuation of an output limit starting current caused by an input voltage.SOLUTION: The power conversion device comprises: an input current detection part 6 which detects an input current Iin to an inverter circuit 1; an input voltage detection part 7 which detects an input voltage Vin to be applied to the inverter circuit 1; an offset addition part 9 which calculates an offset voltage 202 based on the detected input voltage Vin and outputs a voltage value by adding the offset voltage 202 to a detection value voltage 201 of the detected input current Iin; and a switching control part 10 including an output limit part which compares the voltage value outputted from the offset addition part 9 with a threshold value 200, turns the input current Iin into 0 by turning off one or more semiconductor switching elements Q1-Q4 of the inverter circuit 1 when the voltage value becomes equal to or greater than the threshold value 200, reduces a current Iflowing through a smoothing reactor L1 and reduces an output voltage Vout.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
