PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize energy saving while keeping hands-free operability in control of wireless communication.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises: imaging means which acquires an image by imaging a subject; detection means which detects the existence of an external device on the basis of the image acquired by the imaging means; first wireless communication means which performs wireless communication with a first communication standard; and control means which, when the detection means determines the existence of the external device, performs control to establish wireless communication with the external device via the first wireless communication means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
