PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a similar information search method, a server device, and a similar information search system capable of reducing an amount of processing calculation in a terminal device and reducing the number of times of communication between the server device and the terminal device.SOLUTION: A similar information search method comprises: a feature-quantity receiving step of receiving, by a data arithmetic device 200, an encrypted, encrypted feature quantity from a user terminal device 100; a similarity value receiving step of receiving an encrypted, encrypted similarity value; a distance calculating step of calculating, by the data arithmetic device 200, an encrypted distance between a reference feature quantity and the encrypted feature quantity; a determining step of determining, by the data arithmetic device 200, whether the encrypted distance matches the encrypted similarity value; and a reference-data transmitting step of creating encrypted reference data which is information obtained by encrypting reference data and transmitting the created encrypted reference data to the user terminal 100 when the data arithmetic device 200 determines the encrypted distance matches the encrypted similarity value in the determining step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
