PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a channel of a base station to be automatically switched to a channel of a base station appropriate to communication without a user of a mobile station manually switching the channel of the base station to be a mate of base station communication.SOLUTION: There are provided a plurality of base stations 30 and a mobile station 40 performing radio communication in a radio communication area formed by the plurality of base stations 30. The plurality of base stations 30 transmit information by using channels determined for every base station. The mobile station 40 performs search operation measuring an electric field level of each channel for every base station, attempts synchronization acquisition in order of channel where the highest electric field level is measured, and switches a channel to a channel acquired synchronously. In the search operation, the electric field level is measured while switching channels for every frame and, when the electric field level of prescribed threshold or higher is measured, the electric field level of a channel whose electric field level has been measured by then is measured again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
