PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of preventing short circuit failure on an electronic apparatus due to the power supplied from an outside unit connected.SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes: a power receiving section capable of receiving the electric power supplied from another electronic apparatus connected thereto; a proximity detection section for detecting a proximity of the other electronic apparatus; a detection section that, when detecting a proximity of the other electronic apparatus, applies a predetermined voltage to the power receiving section to detect any conductive foreign matter adhered onto the power receiving section; and a control section that controls the electric power supply via the power receiving section depending on the conductive foreign matter adhered onto the power receiving section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
