PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of simultaneously achieving suppression of power consumption and improvement of supercharging responsiveness, in the internal combustion engine including an electric supercharger.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a turbo supercharger having a turbine disposed in an exhaust passage and a compressor disposed in an intake passage, an electric supercharger disposed in the exhaust passage, and a control device for increasing a rotating speed of the electric supercharger by receiving a torque increase request to the internal combustion engine. The control device lowers a rate of increase of the rotating speed from a first rate of increase "Nteup1" to a second rate of increase "Nteup2"(<Nteup1), when the rotating speed reaches a prescribed switch rotating speed "Ntec" in an increasing process of the rotating speed of the electric supercharger. Here, the control device determines "Ntec" and "Nteup2" on the basis of at least one of an engine rotating speed, a rate of increase of the engine rotating speed, and the difference of supercharging pressures between a target supercharging pressure and an actual supercharging pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
