The invention relates to a tapered roller bearing comprising an outer ring (17, 27), an inner ring (14, 24, 42, 52), and tapered rollers (13, 23) which are guided in a cage (8, 28, 48, 58) and can be rolled on an inner raceway of the outer ring and on an outer raceway of the inner ring, a spacing element (2, 20) being provided to secure a relative axial position of the inner ring in relation to another bearing ring (14, 17, 24, 27, 42, 52). According to the invention, the tapered roller bearing can be installed more easily when components that are intended to be retained permanently in the tapered roller bearing also fulfil functions of securing against loss, thus making conventional installation steps and aids obsolete. |
