PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event detection device and an event detection method that detect an excessive event, calculate a time for detecting the event, and can suppress a power consumption.SOLUTION: In the event detection device according to the present application, a power supply unit can supply power to a detection unit and a main processing unit separately, the detection unit and the main processing unit are activated by power supply from the power supply unit, and the power supply unit supplies power to the main processing unit when data detected by the detection unit corresponds to a predetermined event, whereby the main processing unit is activated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
