PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of setting a region of interest by switching interlocking of the region of interest with the movement operation of a guide on a display screen, in a medical image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus 10 comprises: a reception function 112 which accepts the movement operation of a region of interest and a guide on a screen displaying an image generated from medical image data, the region of interest, and the guide being a reference for setting the region of interest; and a movement control function 113 which controls switching on whether or not to permit the movement of the region of interest with the movement operation of the guide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
