PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slipping-out preventive structure of a steel ball and a press-in method of the steel ball for enhancing bearing power of the steel ball installed by caulking.SOLUTION: A slipping-out preventive structure of a steel ball is composed of a shaft body 2, a projection part 3 integrally molded on one end surface of this shaft body 2, a caulking hole 3a provided in this projection part 3 and a steel ball 4 caulked by caulking an outer peripheral surface of the projection part 3 by being pressed in this caulking hole 3a, and as a pre-caulking shape, the outer peripheral surface of the projection part 3 is formed of a straight surface 5 where a tip part is parallel to the central axis and a taper surface 6 for expansively opening a root part toward the lower side. When finishing the outer peripheral surface of a projection part 3 after caulking in a taper, as the pre-caulking shape, the outer peripheral surface of the projection part 3 is molded on a partial straight surface 5, and this straight surface 5 is caulked, and the steel ball 4 is caulked, so that the contact area between the steel ball 4 and a material of flowing by caulking increases, and bearing power of the steel ball 4 is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
