PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel substance with which an increase in life and emission efficiency of a light-emitting element can be achieved.SOLUTION: A carbazole compound having a structure represented by General Formula (G1) is provided, wherein, as a substituent in General Formula (G1)(R, R, Arand α), used is a substituent which has a deep HOMO level and a shallow LUMO level of the compound in which a bond of the substituent is substituted with hydrogen; and additionally, as a substituent in General Formula (G1)(R, R, Arand α), used is a substituent which has a wide band gap (Bg) and a high T1 level of the compound in which a bond of the substituent is substituted with hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
