PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarboxylic acid polymer solution capable of stably exhibiting high dispersibility with time and a method for simply and easily manufacturing the same, and a dispersant and an inorganic particle dispersion containing such a polymer solution.SOLUTION: There is provided a polycarboxylic acid polymer solution containing a polycarboxylic acid polymer having a constitutional unit derived from partial neutralized article by hydroxide of a Group 2 element in the periodic table of ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid, where the partial neutralized article has a neutralization rate by hydroxide of the Group 2 element in the periodic table of 20 to 70 mol% and a molecular weight distribution (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) of the polymer of 2.4 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
