PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management system that enables the manager side to securely manage management target information on a management target device without requiring a user's labor and time, even when a network is not available between the user side and the manager side.SOLUTION: A device management system comprises: a first image formation device 3, a management target device having a facsimile transmission function; a second image formation device 5, a management device having a facsimile reception function; and a manager terminal 7, a storage device for storing management target information on the first image formation device 3. The first image formation device 3 creates a two-dimensional code C showing the first image formation device's management target information, and transmits the code to the second image formation device 5 by using facsimile. The second image formation device 5 stores the two-dimensional code C itself in the facsimile received from the first image formation device 3 or the management target information decoded from the two-dimensional code C, in the manager terminal 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
