PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a klystron capable of deforming an output waveguide and easily adjusting an output.SOLUTION: A klystron 10 comprises an electron gun 16, a high-frequency interaction part 17, convergence coils 12a and 12b, an output waveguide 23, an output window 24, and output adjusting mechanism 30. The high-frequency interaction part 17 includes an input cavity 20, intermediate cavities 21a, 21b, and 21c, and an output cavity 22. The convergence coils 12a and 12b are disposed around the high-frequency interaction part 17. The output waveguide 23 is connected to the output cavity 22. The output window 24 is provided in the output waveguide 23. The output adjusting mechanism 30 is provided in the output waveguide 23, deforms a part of the output waveguide 23, and adjusts an output from the output window 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
