PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, with which both of high capacity and high output can be obtained when the positive electrode material is used for a positive electrode.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characterized in that lithium metal composite oxide powder, at least one organic solvent selected from among ethanol, methanol, propanol, butanol, and acetonitrile, and a tungsten additive material of a tungsten oxide with a grain size of 0.01-0.09 μm or lithium tungstate with a grain size of 0.01-0.09 μm are mixed, the lithium metal composite oxide powder being represented by general formula LiNiCoMO(where, 0.01≤x≤0.35, 0≤y≤0.35, 0.97≤z≤1.20, and M represents an additive element and is at least one element selected from among Mn, V, Mg, Mo, Nb, Ti and Al) and comprising a primary particle and a secondary particle formed by the aggregation of the primary particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
