PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder magnetic core of high magnetic flux density, high permeability, and high strength by suppressing an increase in core loss caused by high temperature magnetic annealing.SOLUTION: The powder magnetic core is manufactured by using soft magnetic metal powder 2 and coated metal powder 1 having a first insulating coat 3 composed of an oxide for coating a surface of the soft magnetic metal powder 2 and a second insulating coat 4 composed of a swelling layered clay mineral for coating a surface of the first insulating coat 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
