PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation apparatus configured so as to store a control device and power generation means in the same housing and capable of suppressing temperature rise of the control device.SOLUTION: A power generation apparatus 1 includes: a diesel engine 4; a power generator 3; a control device 8 for controlling the diesel engine 4 and the power generator 3; and a housing 2 for storing the diesel engine 4, the power generator 3 and the control device 8. The housing 2 includes a suction grill 13 for taking air from an external environment into the inside of the housing 2 and an exhaust grill 15 for exhausting air in the housing 2 to the external environment. Further, a cooling air passage for cooling the control device 8 by air taken in from the external environment through the suction grill 13, cooling the diesel engine 4 and the power generator 3 by the air cooling the control device 8 and exhausting the air cooling the diesel engine 4 and the power generator 3 to the external environment through the exhaust grill 15 is formed in the housing 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
