PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic detection device capable of stably detecting a touch, irrespective of the area of a detection object in contact or in proximity.SOLUTION: An electrostatic detection device includes: a drive electrode 111 (Y-Y) to which voltage is applied; a first detection electrode 121 (X-X) arranged at a first separation distance by crossing the drive electrode 111; a second detection electrode 122 (X-X) arranged in parallel with the first detection electrode 121, and arranged at a second separation distance from the drive electrode 111; and a control section 130 which applies a predetermined voltage to the drive electrode 111 as well as the first detection electrode 121 and the second detection electrode 122, detects a change in capacitance by a detection object between the respective electrodes (between the first detection electrode 121 and the drive electrode 111, and between the second detection electrode 122 and the drive electrode 111), and determines a touch. The control section 130 determines the touch based on a capacitance change value between the first detection electrode 121 and the drive electrode 111 and a capacitance change value between the second detection electrode 122 and the drive electrode 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
