PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a variation in quality of sintered articles by uniformly defatting a treatment object.SOLUTION: A vacuum defatting and sintering furnace 1 comprises: a treatment container 20; a loading platform 21; and a gas supply pipe 7. The loading platform 21 has a multi stage structure and is installed in the treatment container. The treatment container 20 has a gas supply section 30 and a gas exhaust section 40. The gas supply section 30 is provided with a gas introduction space S and gas supply holes 31a installed on respective stages of the loading platform 21. A gas dispersion member 32 which receives sweep gas supplied through the gas supply pipe 7 is arranged in the gas introduction space S.
