PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling dust/foreign matter measurement system and falling dust/foreign matter measurement method, which allow for easily collecting falling dust and foreign matter using a simple configuration and for acquiring information about captured falling dust and foreign matter.SOLUTION: A falling dust/foreign matter measurement system includes; a collection unit 18 for collecting falling dust and foreign matter; a detection unit (e.g., a plurality of photo sensors, each comprising a light-emitting element 12a and a light-receiving element 14a) for detecting falling dust and foreign matter immediately before or after being collected by the collection unit 18; a data storage unit 98 for storing information about the falling dust and foreign matter; and a control unit 92 that makes the data storage unit 98 store the information about the falling dust and foreign matter captured by the collection unit 18 based on detection information generated by the detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
