PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic polymerizable ultraviolet-curable liquid development agent manufacturing method suppressing energy of ultraviolet irradiation without degradation of curable properties even if using a dispersant having basic polar groups.SOLUTION: A cationic polymerizable ultraviolet-curable liquid development agent manufacturing method comprises: a first step of manufacturing a toner particle dispersion element that contains toner particles containing a pigment and a binder resin, a toner dispersant having basic polar groups, and an organic solvent containing a vinyl ether compound; and a second step of bringing the toner particle dispersion element into contact with one or more types of adsorbent selected from a group consisting of hydrotalcite, magnesium silicate, aluminum silicate, and a magnesium oxide/aluminum oxide solid solution, an amount of the adsorbent being equal to or higher than one pt. mass per one pt. mass of the toner dispersant contained in the toner particle dispersion element.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
