The striking mechanism comprises at least one gong (29, 30), an actuating device (11, 20-28, 31-62) for actuating the gong(s), a striking barrel (3), a clutch device with a lever (6) for coupling the actuating device (20-28, 31-62) to the striking barrel (3), the lever (6) of the clutch device being arranged to pivot between a first position in which the actuating device (20-28, 31-62) is coupled to the striking barrel (3) and a second position in which the actuating device (20-28, 31-62) is uncoupled from the striking barrel (3), and a blocking device (18) for blocking the striking barrel (3). The blocking device comprises a blocking member (18) rigidly connected to the lever (6) and arranged so as to block the striking barrel (3) when the lever (6) is in the second position and to not block the striking barrel (3) when the lever (6) is in the first position. |
