PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device and an image formation apparatus which can reduce the possibility of catching between a tip corner portion of a sheet and an edge of a hole in a discharge part.SOLUTION: A post-processing device 3 comprises: a punching part 30 which can punch a hole on a sheet conveyed toward a discharge part 33; a stack tray 34 and a movement mechanism 36 which can change the relative position between the sheet and the discharge part 33 in the width direction (cross direction 503) vertical to the sheet conveyance direction when the sheet is discharged to the discharge part 33; and a sub control part 100 which controls the movement mechanism 36 on the basis of the physical relation in the cross direction 503 between a tip corner portion C1 of the sheet and a hole H1 formed in a sheet ST1 discharged to the discharge part 33 to discharge a sheet ST2 to a position on the discharge part 33 where the tip corner portion C1 and the hole H1 are separated from each other by a preset distance or more in the cross direction 503.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
