PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic peptide for increasing radiation sensitivity of a tumor cell, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the synthetic peptide.SOLUTION: A peptide is a synthetic peptide having a radiation sensitivity sensitizing peptide sequence that consists of the following amino acid sequence or a modified amino acid sequence in which 1 to 3 amino acid residues are substituted, deleted and/or added in the amino acid sequence. Further, a pharmaceutical composition is a composition used for increasing radiation sensitivity of a tumor cell in radiotherapy of the tumor, and contains the synthetic peptide.
