PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which enables more appropriate data erasure.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: an output setting unit 3 which performs output setting for making the output of image data match with a target output result with a selection operation; an output operation unit 5 which causes the image data to be output with an instruction operation and processing to be performed in accordance with the output setting; an association unit 7 which stores association information in which the output image data and the output setting are associated with each other; a state determination unit 9 which determines whether or not the target output result can be obtained on the basis of the state of the apparatus; and a data erasure unit 11 which performs automatic erasure or causes erasure to be selected with respect to the image data associated with the output setting on the basis of the association information when it is determined that the target output result cannot be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
