PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single crystal production method capable of producing a high quality single crystal at a low cost with good repeatability, even if a crucible is deformed by repeated use in production of lithium tantalate single crystal and lithium niobate single crystal by Czochralski method.SOLUTION: When a crucible is set in a single crystal growth furnace while filling a raw material for the single crystal in the deformed crucible 41, and tilting of the crucible 41 is corrected by arranging a block form refractory 421 with an opposite face to the crucible 41 having an angle to a horizontal face between a stand 43 for setting the crucible 41 and a bottom face 412 of the crucible 41, in the production method of the single crystal. It is possible that a plurality of blocks 422A and 422B are arranged in line, or a plurality of blocks 423A and 423B are stacked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
