PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem that when job setting information on a user who logged on a job processing apparatus earlier cannot be read unless a user who logged on the job processing apparatus later logs out, it is often desired to log out the user who logged on later from the job processing apparatus as soon as possible.SOLUTION: A job processing apparatus receives an instruction for logging on the job processing apparatus from a user. The user is caused to log out from the job processing apparatus when log-out time passes since the job processing apparatus receives an operation of the user logging on the job processing apparatus. The log-out time is set such that time for causing a user whose log-out instruction is received in a state where another user logs on the job processing apparatus to log out is shorter than time for causing the user whose log-on instruction is received in a state where another user does not log on the apparatus to log out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
