PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capping head which can always properly wind and tighten a cap against a mouth of a container, irrespective of variations in cap diameter, which is simple in structure ans easy in assembling, and which is easy in washing.SOLUTION: A chuck member 41 is supported by an attachment member 31, and is swingable around a swing shaft 42 extending along an axial direction of a cap P. A portion 47 to be energized is provided to stand on the chuck member 41, and is positioned in front of the swing shaft 42 in a rotational direction of a capping head 20. An elastic member 51 is engaged with the portion 47 to be energized and energizes a contact portion 45 toward an outer peripheral surface of the cap P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
