PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taste enhancer giving strong taste when ingesting food and drink, i.e., making food and drink more delicious.SOLUTION: A taste enhancer for enhancing taste of food and drink by adding to the food and drink contains a heat treated product which is obtained by heat-treating food which is contained as the raw material or not contained in the food and drink, at 110-130°C under 0.08-0.2 MPa pressure condition. The food is, for instance, processed in a form of squeezed food, paste, dry matter, extract or seasoning. The food and drink contains the taste enhancer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
