PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicore shield cable and a branching method of the cable, by which reduction in shield characteristics in all of the core wires accompanying branch wiring can be prevented, without using a separate braid sleeve or the like.SOLUTION: A multicore cable 100 includes: a first core wire group 102 comprising a plurality of core wires 101 assembled; a first binding tape 103 wound on an outer circumference of the first core wire group 102; a first braid shield 104 disposed on an outer circumference of the first binding tape 103; a second binding tape 105 wound on an outer circumference of the first braid shield 104; a second core wire group 106 comprising a plurality of core wires 101 disposed on an outer circumference of the second binding tape 105; a third binding tape 107 wound on an outer circumference of the second core wire group 106; a second braid shield 108 disposed on an outer circumference of the third binding tape 107; and a jacket 109 disposed on an outer circumference of the second braid shield 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
