PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of improving efficiency of conversion from AC power to DC power by bringing a switching element of a rectifier circuit into OFF state in appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A control part 30 sets as current thresholds at least zero that is a first current threshold, and I21 that is a second threshold of which the absolute value is greater than that of the first current threshold. Based on an absolute value of an AC current value Iout exceeding the absolute value of the first current threshold, the control part 30 transmits an ON signal to a rectifier circuit 10 in order to bring a part of a plurality of switching elements Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 into ON state. Based on the absolute value of the AC current value Iout becoming below the absolute value of the second current threshold, on the other hand, the control part stops transmitting the ON signal to the rectifier circuit 10 in order to bring a part of the plurality of switching elements Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 into OFF state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
