PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire feeding device and a method for correcting curling of a wire, by which curling in a wire can be corrected into a better state.SOLUTION: The wire feeding device includes a wire reel, a wire correction roller device, a wire pre-correction device 14 disposed between the wire reel and the wire correction roller device and preliminarily correcting curling of a wire 2, and a wire traveling device to control the wire 2 to travel in a predetermined direction. The wire pre-correction device 14 has pre-correction main parts 28, 29 in which wire insertion parts 36, 39 where the wire 2 is to be inserted are formed. In an upstream pre-correction main part 34 closer to the wire reel and a downstream pre-correction main part 35 closer to the wire correction roller device in the pre-correction main part 28, 29, the wire insertion part 39 is formed to be narrower in the downstream pre-correction main part 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
