PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift instruction device which does not permit display of an unnecessary shift-up instruction during cruise control.SOLUTION: A shift instruction device comprises: an accelerator opening estimation part 42 which, when a constant speed travel control part 41 controls constant speed travel of a vehicle 1, estimates a corresponding accelerator opening on the basis of demand torque required by the constant speed travel control part 41; a moderating processing part 43 which, when the constant speed travel control part 41 controls the constant speed travel, performs moderating processing by a moderating amount larger than a normal moderating amount to the accelerator opening estimated by the accelerator opening estimation part 42; and a shift instruction part 40 which makes an information device 20 inform change timing of a shift stage of an automatic transmission 3 on the basis of the accelerator opening and the vehicle speed, which are subjected to the moderating processing by the moderating processing part 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
