PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system for achieving accurate image display and high reliability on a system operation while suppressing the initial costs of the system.SOLUTION: An image display system 2 includes image processors 6a and so on of the same number of a group of display devices 4a and so on, and one display device is controlled by one image processor. A time control part 14 of each of the image processors 6a and so on includes a reproduction counter 15 indicating the temporal reference of processing in an image processing part 13, and temporal control related to the generation of an image reproduction signal is performed in accordance with the counter value of the reproduction counter 15. An image processing part 13 of a reference image processor 6d includes a reference time transmission part 16 for transmitting the counter value of a reference counter 17 indicating the temporal reference of processing in the image display system 2 to the time control part 14 of each of the image processors 6a and so on.
