The invention comprises a printing unit for a flexographic printing press, comprising a function cylinder (12, 20, 26) having a cylinder shaft (32) rotatably mounted in cylinder bearings (34), and a cylinder body (30) mounted in a rotationally fixed manner on the cylinder shaft (32), wherein the cylinder bearings (34) can be displaced linearly relative to a machine base (14) by means of a spindle drive (42) between a printing position and an unloaded position of the function cylinder (12, 20, 26), and, for this purpose, are mounted with respect to the machine base (14) by means of a linear guide (38) oriented appropriately in the displacement direction. The invention is characterized by the fact that the cylinder shaft (32) is surrounded on both sides of the cylinder body (30) by a coaxial bearing ring (48) each which, in the printing position, can be loaded by means of a spring element (50) fixed to the machine base with a radial preloading force oriented at an angle between 30° and 60° relative to the displacement direction. |
