A pipe fitting for the connection of an end of a first pipeline section to an end of a further pipeline section, a pipeline component or a side pipe fitting is provided. The pipe fitting includes a first connector part located with the end of the first pipeline section and a second connector part located with the end of the second pipeline section or the pipeline component. The first and second connector parts are provided with respective sets of engagement means, which are moved into an engaged position to form the pipe fitting by relative rotation between the first and second connector parts. |
