Provided are a method and an apparatus for processing data for pilot information restoration. When data is processed for restoring distributed pilot information in a communication system using multicarrier, data to be transmitted and an input signal having a distributed pilot placeholder, which is location information about distributed pilot disposed in the data, are time-interleaved. When time-interleaving, the location information of the distributed pilot, which is lost during a period of outputting dummy data, is applied as an initial value. In addition, the signal to be outputted after processing the time-interleaving is transmitted after processing frequency-interleaving. |
