PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire for inductor capable of preventing increase of AC resistance on an inductor while increasing the inductance.SOLUTION: A wire for inductor 10 includes: a metal central conductor 11; an insulator layer 13a covering a central conductor 11; a porous layer 13b covering the insulator layer 13a; and a magnetic material 15 filled in the holes of the porous layer 13b. The axis of easy magnetization of the magnetic material 15 is preferably oriented in a direction perpendicular to a circumferential direction of the central conductor 11. The length of the magnetic material 15 in a depth direction from the surface of the porous layer 13b is 5-20 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
