PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient cooling method for a circuit unit or the like while keeping a stable state of a recording/reproducing unit in the case where a plurality of drives being recording/reproducing devices are mounted on a body of a library device.SOLUTION: A library device 1 comprises a recording/reproducing unit for performing recording/reproducing on a disk 3, a drive 5 having a signal processing unit for controlling the recording/reproducing unit, and a storage 4 for storing the drive and the disk. An air channel is provided around the drive, the signal processing unit and the recording/reproducing unit are disposed separately from each other, an inflow port is formed on the upstream side of the signal processing unit and an outflow port is formed on the downstream side thereof, and a surface on which the inflow port and the outflow port of the drive are installed is different from a surface on which an insertion port for inserting the disk into the recording/reproducing unit is installed, so that both of stabilization of the recording/reproducing unit and cooling of the signal processing unit can be realized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
