PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor unit and image formation device that can suppress contamination of sensors detecting a control image while using a shield member of a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A sensor unit comprises: a sensor 2 that detects a control image carried by a movable conveyance body 31 and formed of toner to be conveyed, and includes a detection unit 2a arranged so as to oppose the conveyance body; and a shield member 4 that is arranged between the detection unit and the conveyance body, includes an opening part 4a, and reciprocally moves between a first position where the opening part opposes the detection unit and allows the sensor to detect the control image and a second position where the opening part does not oppose the detection unit and shields the detection unit from the conveyance body. The shield member includes: a first adjacent part A that opposes the opening part in a process of movement of the shield member from the second position to the first position, and is on an upstream side with respect to the movement direction; and a second adjacent part B that is on a downstream side with respect to the movement direction, in which an electrostatic capacitance of the second adjacent part B is configured to be smaller than that of the first adjacent part A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
