The present invention relates to an electric machine (34), comprising a housing (35), a stator (36) arranged in the housing (35), and a rotor (37) which is arranged in the stator (36) and which is mounted on the housing (35) so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (28), wherein the rotor (37) has a rotor shaft (3) which is led out through a front wall (38) of the housing (35), wherein the rotor shaft (3) has, on the outer side of the front wall (38), a drive element (1) which serves for transmission of torque between the rotor (3) and a drivetrain when the electric machine (34) is incorporated into the drivetrain, and wherein the rotor shaft (3) is rotatably mounted in a front bearing (5) which is inserted into the front wall (38). Improved protection of the front bearing (5) against contaminants is realized if the front bearing (5) is, at an inner side of the front wall (38), sealed off with respect to an interior (41) of the housing (35) by way of a labyrinth seal (29). |
