PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition containing aripiprazole in a dosage form for transdermal delivery.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition containing aripiprazole in a dosage form for transdermal delivery contains about 7% of aripiprazole, about 5% of Carbopol (R), about 40% of DMSO, about 25% of ethanol, about 5% of lactic acid, about 1.75% of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), about 4% of oleic acid, about 7.25% of propylene glycol (PG), and a suitable amount of water.
