PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ball feeding device which is small-sized, has a simple structure, and is reduced in failures for automatically feeding balls to a compact pitching machine loaded on a dolly.SOLUTION: An automatic ball feeding device includes: a short cylindrical tray provided with a peripheral wall 23 and a rotary circular plate 24 in a bottom part; a revolving storage chamber 26 in which a dropping opening 27 is opened in an outer peripheral part of the rotary circular plate 24 and which rotates with the rotary circular plate 24 by holding one ball that has dropped from the tray; a feeding passage 31 in communication with the revolving storage chamber at one place in the rotating range; a shielding plate 41 which prevents the ball in the tray from dropping to the revolving storage chamber 26 at the place where the revolving storage chamber 26 communicates with the feeding passage 31; and a rotation driving device 25 which temporarily halts the revolving storage chamber 26 at a place where the feeding passage 31 communicates with the revolving storage chamber 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
