PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent relative movement of a color reference member and an image reading section at an unnecessary timing, while using a drive source for moving the color reference member and image reading section relatively, also as a drive source for other use, at the time of shading correction.SOLUTION: An automatic document feeder 20 includes a movement mechanism for moving a back image reading module 35 and a white guide member 33 relatively, and a paper feed motor capable of driving a document feeding section 27 and movement mechanism. The paper feed motor rotates the output shaft reversely up to a set reverse rotation angle according to the document feeding conditions. In the transmission path from the output shaft to movement mechanism, there is provided a movement limitation mechanism for limiting relative movement of the reading module 35 and white guide member 33, in the drive region until the reverse rotation angle of the output shaft reaches a set reverse rotation angle. The movement mechanism moves the reading module 35 and white guide member 33 relatively, in a region where the output shaft exceeds the set reverse rotation angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
